Online University Teaching during and after the Covid-19 Crisis in Iraq: Teacher's Presence and Learning Activity

Abstract

Covid - 19 pandemic was a dangerous threat to humanity in the whole earth. The epidemic has succeeded in the global closure of many activities, including educational activities. Although the implementation of e-learning initiatives has reached advanced stages in developed countries, it is still in its infancy in many developing countries and the Middle East in particular. Recently, after the outbreak of Covid-19, state universities in Iraq began limited attempts to use e-learning alongside traditional classrooms. This research paper discusses the effect of online teaching on the teaching process. The researcher made a survey among academic teachers to assess the effect of online study, take their opinions about the problems they faced during the pandemic and analyze our data.
