ENHANCED MOBILE BROADBAND (EMBB): A REVIEW

Abstract

For the first 5G deployments internationally, the enhanced Mobile Broadband
(eMBB) service is the main target. The (eMBB) communications are intended to
fulfill the requirement of high-throughput while being used for some services of high
priority. At a rapid rate, the use of broadband data has increased. Moreover, to reach
the latest applications, the system bandwidth needs to be widely increased. Different
techniques to enhance mobile broadband (eMBB) are shown in this paper and an
overview of the technical challenges of broadband schemes is presented and viable
solutions to achieve cost-effective solutions are also provided.
