SECURE IOT INTEGRATION IN DAILY LIVES: A REVIEW
Abstract
Internet of Things (IOT) is a prominent field that is attracting a lot of attention from everyday users especially with how easy it is nowadays to get a hold of a stable internet connection and the advancement of technology. Naturally, this causes the research community to focus on this field a lot more and discover new techniques and new implementations for this field. As any other network-entity, once something gets into a network or more specifically onto the Internet, it will be a subject to security threats and attacks. Usually, these attacks and threats are targeting the users of these systems in return of some sort of gain, and sometimes they are completely focused on ruining a specific system or an application. This paper focuses on multiple different cases of IoT integration in daily lives and how vulnerable these integrations are, and how they could be improved to be more secure.
